Project
Overview
Address needs from all DOE sites for long-term monitoring of remedial
measures including natural processes, containment, and stabilization
operations. This project will address (1) groundwater monitoring
needs by developing in-situ sensors for meeting compliance requirements
for VOCs, followed by heavy metals and rads, and (2) needs for monitoring
contaminant transport fluxes in the vadose zone, by employing advanced
geophysical tools combined with geostatistical sampling techniques
to provide groundtruth results.
