Project
Overview
This technology analyzes the isotopic ratios of samples collected
in conjunction with a groundwater-monitoring program for the purpose
of differentiating the sources of water to distinguish pathways
for radionuclide contaminants in the groundwater. Specific analyses
will include hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios of water, carbon
isotope ratio of dissolved inorganic carbon compounds in water,
strontium isotope ratios of dissolved strontium, nitrogen and oxygen
isotope ratios of groundwater nitrate, and dissolved radionuclides
in groundwater.
