Students from Cedar Falls High School, Cedar Falls, Iowa, display the $1,000 check they received for their school's science department as a result of finishing in the top 18 out of 64 teams at the Department of Energy's National Science Bowl, May 3-6 in Washington, D.C. The team won the opportunity to compete in the national event by taking top honors at the Ames Lab/ISU Regional Science Bowl in January.
