Students from Cedar Rapids Washington High School won the 2003 Ames Lab/ISU Regional Science Bowl, held Jan. 25 in Ames. The team of Jeff Barnes, Ashley Noreuil, Jake Thomas, Krystal Garringer, and Aaron McDowell defeated Central Academy of Des Moines for the opportunity to represent the Region in the U.S. Department of Energy's National Science Bowl, to be held May 1-5 in Washington D.C.
