        SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Scientific and Technical Information Program (STI) was established to capture and share our researcher's STI, i.e., journal articles, conference proceedings, research and development reports, theses, and software with the National and International scientific community. The Laboratory's STI Program satisfies Department of Energy's (DOE) statutory dissemination requirements, promotes scientific advancement, and ensures a fair return on taxpayer investment. The significant goals of the STI Program are as follows:

To help achieve the Laboratory's STI goals, several short procedures follow for submitting STI (i.e., journal articles, conference proceeding, research & development reports and theses). In addition, several guidance items are discussed regarding submitting page chargs, preparing Transfer of Copyright Forms and gaining access to scientific and technical information sites.
