b. Other Dr. Lamont is currently the Associate Editor (Breeding and Genetics) for Poultry Science. She is also the Associate Editor for the Journal of Heredity, 2000-present. She is an Ad hoc Reviewer of Manuscripts: Science, Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, Animal Genetics, Journal of Heredity, and Developmental and Comparative Immunology. She is a member of the Editorial Board for Animal Biotechnology, 1995-present, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Poultry and Avian Biology Reviews, 1998-present. She has been involved with the National Animal Genome Technical Committee in several capacities including Secretary, 1993-1994, and Chair, 1994-1995. She was the USA Branch, World's Poultry Science Association Director from 1992-1996. She has been involved with the International Society of Animal Genetics and has held positions as both Secretary, 1992-1996, and a member of the Executive Committee, 1996-2000. She was on the Scientific Program Committee for the World's Poultry Congress 2000 from 1997-2000 and on the Organizing Committee for the Internal Conference on Animal Genetics 2000 from 1997-2000.
