Developing the Program
- The TIMI program was created in response to needs identified by crime laboratories and project ideas for innovative technological solutions, management tools, communications, and response and interoperability.
- The MFRC funds and performs projects that apply technology and innovative solutions to lab management issues.
- The projects evaluate the performance and barriers to implementation for these solutions, suggesting paths for labs to take in implementing new technology and practices.
