Oxy-Gon High Temperature Quenching Furnace
This quench furnace was custom built for MPC. The sample is hung by a wire and can be dropped into a quench bath of silicone oil.
- Maximum operating temperature of 1600ºC
- Maximum sample size is a 1-inch diameter x 3 inch tall cylinder
- Quench bath is a silicone oil
- High vacuum or 1 atmosphere of argon atmosphere
