Abstract

We show the designs of bulk one- and two-dimensionally isotropic photonic negative index metamaterials working around telecom wavelengths. The designed structures are inherently connected, which makes fabrication by direct laser writing and chemical vapor deposition or other techniques possible. (C) 2009 Optical Society of America
